Kids Choice Home Health Provides Services Through the Following Programs:



STAR Kids is a new Texas Medicaid managed care program that will provide Medicaid benefits, beginning November 1, 2016, to children and adults 20 and younger who have disabilities. Participation in the STAR Kids program is required for those who are 20 or younger, covered by Medicaid, and meet specific criteria.

Kids Choice is contracted with every STAR Kids MCO in Texas:

 -Aetna Better Health
 -Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas...
 -Children's Medical Center Health Plan
 -Community First Health Plan
 -Cook Children's Health Plan
 -Driscroll Children's Health Plan
 -Superior Health Plan
 -Texas Children's Health Plan
 -United Healthcare


The Comprehensive Care Program.

This is a Medicaid funded program that provides private duty nursing and in-home therapy services.



The Medically Dependent Children's Program.

This is a Medicaid Waiver program which allows children to qualify for Medicaid regardless of their parent's income. This program provides the child with an annual budget to be used at the parent's discretion for supplies, equipment, home modifications, nursing care, and attendant/respite care.



Personal Care Services Program.

This program is a Medicaid funded program providing attendant care for children with special needs and not necessarily medical needs. Children with autism and down syndrome or other diagnosis of that nature can qualify for this program.



Children with Special Health Care Needs.

This is a Medicaid funded program providing skilled nursing and therapy services.


Star+Plus HMO.

This is also for young adults, ages 21 and up within certain counties in Texas. Depending upon which county you live in, you have the choice of several managed care organizations to mangage your child's medicaid. Star+Plus still covers private duty nursing, respite, and attendant care.  

We also accept Medicaid, Private Insurance, and Private Pay.
